“Dylda” by Kantemir Balagov entered the program of the New York Film Festival -

The film “Yield” by Kantemir Balagov was included in the program of the 57th New York Film Festival, which will be held at the Lincoln Center from September 27 to October 13.

This year, 29 films from 17 countries were selected for the main program of the festival.

Together with Dylda, laureates of the 72nd Cannes Film Festival will be shown: Parasites Pon Joon Ho (Golden Palm Branch), Atlantic Mati Diop (Grand Prix), Portrait of a Girl on Fire Celine Syamma (Best Screenplay), “Pain and Glory” by Pedro Almodovar (Antonio Banderasu Award for Best Actor), “Kozodoi” by Kleber Mendonso Filio and Juliano Dornel (Jury Prize), “Young Ahmed” by the Dardenne brothers (Prize for directing), “And the Fire Will Come” by Oliver Lache (“Special Look”, Special Jury Prize), “Freedom” by Albert Serra (“Special Look”, Special Jury Prize).

“In such cases, it is customary to say words of duty that Kantemir and I are very happy to receive this invitation and are glad that Dylda was in such a worthy company. And I honestly admit that everything is so, ”said film producer Alexander Rodnyansky.

The world premiere of the film took place in the official competition “Special Look” of the 72nd Cannes Film Festival, where the tape received two awards at once — the prize for best director and the FIPRESCI prize of the international film press federation.
